I often buy gifts here! The bookstore is fantastic and if they don't have a book in stock, they can usually get it within a couple of days. Ben Franklin and Hallmark also have great gift options. I love the coffee and bagels...and if you're looking for a good sandwich, you need to stop at the Chocolate Factory. The staff at the hardware store are always very helpful. But by far, my favorite stop is Hooves and Paws pet store. Their expanded space is great, and my pup loves picking out his own treat!
Whitman Park is an Oconomowoc staple! Been there forever. Has essential shops. Good one stop shopping.
Many good stores and restaurants. There is a bagel places...best freaking bagels I have ever had, without a doubt, plus good coffee and many other good foods. And Ben Franklin craft store is funky and cool, a must see. Plenty of parking, right on the road to OSRUI. Grab some chow and some gifts after you drop the kids at camp.
A very nice blend of stores: a 24 hour Walgreens, Books & Co., Sun Laundromat, bagels, coffee, Hallmark, Realtor, pet store, liquor store, Rocky Rococo's Pizza, the Chocolate Factory, Milwaukee PC, Ace Hardware, Ben Franklin, a hair salon, and others. Great place for picking up a gift. Lots of parking.
Clean area. If you're black be prepared to be stared at by everyone as if your gonna rob them. Adults in this area are so rude with the stares it's unreal.
